Awards and Prizes

【Student Award】

• Awards are determined by the participant’s score in each category:
  Gold (101–120), Silver (81–100), Bronze (61–80)   — with medals and certificates awarded.；
• Among all Gold Award recipients, the
  Top Scholar, Second Place, and Third Place will be selected based on the highest scores and awarded honorary trophies.

【School Award】

• 由Outstanding institutions selected by the Hong Kong Innovation Technology Development Professional Jury will receive the
  「Elite School 」Honor and the 「Outstanding School」Award
• Outstanding instructors selected by the same jury will receive the
• 「Elite Teacher」Honor and the 「Outstanding Teacher」Award

【[Exchange Opportunities】

• Winners of the Chinese Writing category will have the opportunity to represent Hong Kong and compete with students from the Greater Bay Area in the “Greater China Star” Challenge.

 Competition Format

• All categories are conducted in written format, with a time limit of approximately 60 minutes (the exact duration varies by grade level and is subject to the admission ticket).

  [Chinese Reading] The paper includes multiple‑choice questions and both short and long response questions, with a total score of 120.

  [Chinese Writing] The topic will be announced on site, and the format is argumentative writing.
  Primary group: minimum 300 words, time limit 60 minutes.
  Secondary group: minimum 650 words, time limit 120 minutes.

Notes on Competition

• Participants must bring their own writing tools. Classical Chinese questions will be included for Secondary 1 and above.
  The organiser, the Hong Kong Innovation Technology Development Centre, reserves the right to amend and interpret all competition rules without prior notice.
  All final decisions rest with the organiser and are not subject to dispute.
